FAQ

The following questions are some of the most frequently asked questions I get.  Feel free to ask more by booking a phone consultation!

How do I choose the right trainer for me?

You want a trainer that will personalize a program to your specific goals and needs.  We all come from unique backgrounds and should train according to our needs.  A personalized program will acknowledge your previous injuries or medical conditions as well as your lifestyle and schedule in order to design a program that best fits your needs.  You also want a trainer who understands your personality and what conditions you train best under.  When training with B.U.F, you get these benefits and more.

Should I be training post surgery or after sustaining an injury?

If we are being honest, none of us have perfect health and there are always weaknesses present even when we aren't injured.  If your program isn't correcting deformities and weaknesses in your body, it is incomplete.  I believe that every personal training program should contain an element of physical therapy.  By training with me, I give you a physical diagnosis and a pathway to healing yourself by changing your shape.

How do I choose the most effective fitness package for me?

You won't need more than 3 sessions/week with me to achieve in months what others take years to accomplish on their own.  Whether you want less than 3 sessions/week or not depends on how aggressive you want to be with your change of shape and how fast you want to obtain results from your training.  Each person has different starting lines and goals for their body so their training frequency and style of intensity will vary.  If doing online training this may vary depending on the individual.

Do I need to train in person to get the results I want to see?

While in-person training is my passion and the most effective way to get results, my online fitness program is fully capable of taking you to your next level of fitness.  In the online fitness program, I interview, diagnose, and onboard clients as well as supply video instruction with weekly check-ins to review your movements as well as make adjustments to the fitness program if needed.

How long should I train with a personal trainer?

Fitness is a lifestyle, but one that should fit into your current life complete with your weekly challenges and time constraints.  Adding or changing our lifestyle to fit time for ourselves can be difficult especially if you are just starting your fitness journey or are picking it back up.  With this in mind, know that it takes time for the habit of self-care to be engrained into our daily habits.  With me guiding you, this entire experience becomes a lot less burdensome and maximizes the time you can spend enjoying the results you get from your work outs.

How much does personal training cost?

Because everyone has a different story and unique goals, the prices vary based on how aggressive you want to be and how much support from me is necessary to create a lasting change.  After talking and creating a plan we can move forward with, I will be able to tell you the cost.

What area does B.U.F operate out of?

In short, anywhere with an internet connection. We currently are running clients out of a private studio in Fairmount Georgia, but we also run many online clients through our app.

What is included with training?

I include nutrition guides and simple supplemental routines for the days we don't meet to ensure that you get the fastest and most drastic changes.  By arming you with nutritional information and specialized routines to do when we aren't together, I guarantee that you will achieve your desired results.  This information is so powerful, when combined with my training, that I offer a money back guarantee.  Don't get results? Don't have to pay.

Could you tell me more about the money back guarentee?

I am so confident in my knowledge and training expertise, that I offer money back guarantees on my in-person training services.  I am proud to say that everyone I work with/have worked with has been extremely happy with their results because I provide strategies specifically catered to them.  Whether you are 8 or 80, I have seen challenges like yours and know how to overcome them.  This also only applies to clients I see in person and not to online clients.

What is covered in the consultation?

During a consultation, I will assess where you currently are and where you want to be.  This is a time for you to be candid with your struggles and any complications you feel are getting in the way of living a healthful life.  We will then strategize how to overcome these challenges and plot out the pathway to achieving the changes you are trying to make.  This is also a time for you to ask me questions on anything you may be unclear on.  Even if we don't end up partnering on your fitness goals, you will be sure to learn something you didn't already know.

How do you differ from other trainers?

While I am happy with the advent of health consciousness, many trainers today have a "one size fits all" approach that I have seen hurt more people than help.  While I do challenge my clients and push their potential, I also meet them where they are physically and mentally instead of forcing them to throw up on their first session.  Having a background in physical therapy and a history of overcoming client health challenges equips me with the tools to create a transformation in anyone who I work with.  (It is important to note that just because a trainer knows how to train their body, doesn't mean they know how to train yours.)
